HUDSON the pup met a fellow top dog as he visited his human namesake at Colten Care's Avon Cliff an older care facility in Bournemouth.
The five-month-old golden retriever was named after Ian Hudson, Md together with the care home provider, which sponsors his training for assistance dog in your disabled.
Staff and residents inside home picked the name when they selected the Verwood voluntary group Woofability as main charity for 2011.
Woofability provides specially trained assistance dogs that will help disabled people who have practical tasks very much like getting dressed, emptying the actual model and lifting the post.
The dogs also can determine if you are getting willing to offer an epileptic fit as they are conditioned to raise advice.
Coupled with supporting Hudson's training across the next Couple of years, Avon Cliff has raised greater than 800 for Woofability through coffee mornings and craft and cake fairs.
Jenny Clarke, co-founder of Woofability, said: -The support from Colten Care is assisting us produce a real impact on people's lives across Dorset, Hampshire and south Wiltshire.
-We have 37 dogs in training at that point. All of them are chosen regarding their even temperament and they are appreciated by everyone from autistic children women to operate Alzheimer's and dementia.-
Mr Hudson said: -It was an honour in an effort to satisfy my canine namesake in the flesh. There should be some MDs who could say they might have a very good dog named after them irrespective of whether they can be well known for barking out orders!
